Cemetery Plot Ownership and Use Notice

1. Plot Designation: All burial plots must be designated by name at the time of purchase. This designation is required to ensure accurate record-keeping and burial rights.

2. Ownership and Title: While the purchaser is granted the right of interment in the designated plot(s), no deed or title shall be issued. Legal title to all cemetery property remains solely vested in Union Grove Church of God of Prophecy. The purchaser acquires a revocable license for burial purposes only, subject to church policies and applicable laws.

3. Structures and Memorials: The use of burial vaults and headstones is strongly encouraged. However, the selection, purchase, installation, and maintenance of any monument, marker, or tombstone is solely the responsibility of the plot holder or their legal representative.

4. Assumption of Risk: Plot holders acknowledge and accept all inherent risks associated with the placement and long-term condition of tombstones and other personal memorials. Union Grove Church of God of Prophecy assumes no liability for damage, loss, or deterioration due to environmental conditions, natural events, vandalism, or normal aging of materials.
