A Great Commission Church
with Great Commandment Love
Michelle alongside many others faithfully attend to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of each child at Union Grove. Each Sunday night, the children open our services with a "Gleaners" program which consists of worship, service, and special praise.
On Sunday mornings, we have a nursery option for your small children and a Children's church option for the older ones. This is a specialized service to minister in a unique way to the children in a way that they will understand and retain.
On Wednesday nights, we also have individualized lessons for the children as well as a meal so that none go without food for the evening.
In addition to this, we have many special events and outings yearlong.
Our youth ministry meets every Wed. night at 7PM. There are many events through out the year geared to our youth group, check out our events calendar for details.
Small Groups at Union Grove is always changing to provide a fresh experience. These groups meet twice a month on 2nd and 4th Sunday nights at 5PM.
Get to Know Us
The following brief history of Union Grove comes from memories of witnesses of those early years, as the written records were destroyed by fire, when the home of church clerk, Mollie Parker, burned.
A community perspective...
Our wonderful day began with the most spirit filled church service I've attended in a while!! Souls were saved and lives changed !! Then lunch at Outback Steak House . Then back to church for Love and Respect Marriage class !! Such a good time and learning experience !! God's working even if I don't see it , even if I don't feel it, he never stops working in us ❤️ I will never forget this day THANK YOU LORD
Some of you may have already read my rant about our water this morning. Well guess what!!! I went through the living water this morning! I got saved and gave my life back to God! 🙌🏻 Thank you to a friend that was there for me at church. ❤️ You know who you are. I AM NOT ASHAMED TO PROFESS MY SALVATION! ARE YOU!

You Are Welcome at UG
How long is the service? It’s nice to know how long a service typically runs so people can plan accordingly. Sunday school starts at 10AM and dismisses at 10:45AM. We begin in worship at 10:50AM and our services can run until Noon or 12:30, depending on special services.
What about kids? All kids 11 and under can head straight to the kid’s classrooms behind the sanctuary. One Sunday a month we have P.E.W. Sunday which is Parents Encouraging Worship. This Sunday is important for our kids to engage with parents in worship and to experience what it's like in "Big" Church. We have a fully staffed nursery and all of our staff who work with Youth and Children are Shepherd Watch Certified meaning an extensive background check has been completed on our staff. In addition, we offer groups for youth and children on Wed nights too.
What’s the service like? Our style of worship is mixed with newer modern worship music and traditional hymnals. The services are mainly informal, however on special occasions we do have more formal type services for baptismal, dedications, and new membership (but this is only a part of our services). Our most important aspects are engaging in areas of Uniting together in worship, Growing together as disciples, and Committing ourselves to the work God has called us to.
How do people normally dress? We want you to be comfortable in our church, formal attire is not required, most folks are business casual, and our pastor sometimes doesn't wear a tie. We respect our time together, so we make sure to at least dress modestly and honor our relationships with God and others.
